Life After Loss

If nothing else, the last 12 years have taught me how important it is to find a way to embrace life after loss. Living for today doesn’t always seem possible in ‘normal’ circumstances, let alone after loss. Especially when we’re wrapped up in the Mon-Fri regime of work, eat, sleep, repeat.

Psychotherapy: Things I’ve Learnt So Far

Earlier this year, my Doctor referred me to a Psychotherapist after my anxiety skyrocketed. Whilst I knew I’d been suffering for a while, I’d never openly spoken about it. At the start of the year, it became impossible for me to manage myself, so I went to see my Doctor. I ended up on a waiting list for psychotherapy and on medication.
