Exploring Newhaven

One of the things I love most about moving to a new town is getting to explore new places. This time, I don’t just have a new town to explore, but a whole new county. After doing some research, I decided on the small port town of Newhaven on the East Sussex coast.

Why I Joined Borrow My Doggy

If you follow me on social media, you might’ve noticed a bit of dog-related content on my stories recently. As much as I would love a dog someday, none of the lovely dogs are actually mine. I have been borrowing them from dog owners who use the website Borrow My Doggy.

My Bucket List Plans for Turning 40

This year, I’m setting out on one big bucket list adventure. Ahead of my 40th Birthday in December, I’ve set myself a little challenge. There’s some stuff that I’ve had on my bucket list for a while. So I thought, why not make it into a ‘thing’ in the lead-up to my BIG 40?

Exploring Fulham Palace House and Gardens

Did you know there is a Palace tucked away in leafy Fulham? At the start of this year, I promised myself more London adventures. Not the usual tourist hotspots, but quieter corners of the city. London is full of hidden gems if you take the time to look for them.

Virginia Water

What better way to start a week off in August than a day out in the rain! Not deterred by the weather, I loaded my rucksack and headed to Virginia Water. Virginia Water itself is a small town just outside London, nestled in the Surrey countryside. It’s one of the most expensive places to live in the UK.

St Albans, Jogging and a Social Media Detox

The weekend included a trip to St Albans for a lovely brunch with family and a new year clear out. St. Albans was a beautiful, peaceful place, and the clear out felt therapeutic. Despite challenges, I’m determined to achieve my goals of exercising more and spending less time on social media.
