Self-Care Neglect

As I write this blog post, I’ve been trying to think of a suitable word to sum up how I’ve been feeling during the last couple of months. All I can think of is… ‘meh’. A pretty nondescript word, but sums up how I’ve been feeling. Life has been a little bit all over the…

Honesty

This post was originally published on 29th June 2019 and updated on 24th August 2019. Earlier this year, I wrote a blog post called Love or Loyalty? For me, without love, there is no purpose. However, since writing the original post, I have found myself asking if love and loyalty are the most important things…

Milestones, Republishing and Rebranding

Milestones With the first anniversary of The Mindful Musings of a Gingernut approaching, I’ve been taking some time to reflect on my blog, to read through old posts, and to think about where I’d like to take my musings over the next 12 months. Pampering with beauty products and holiday shopping brought relaxation. Tending to the plants capped off a rejuvenating weekend, gearing up for the upcoming challenges.

New Year, New Goals

As we head into 2019, I’m excited to set some new goals instead of traditional resolutions. From cutting down on social media to focusing on health, travel, and self-care, I want to make this year about balance and personal growth. What are your goals for the year ahead?

Change – Part 2

In Change (Part 1), I wrote about the importance of living life. How life was too precious and too short to plod along, and how sometimes it takes a life-changing event to give us the wake-up call we so badly need. In Change (Part 2), I want to share with you, my readers, how a…
