I’ve been confused for some time as to why the comments box in my blog posts has disappeared!
Despite clicking on the correct options within the mobile app, the comments box just refused to show.
Thankfully, I finally found some time this week to log the issue with WordPress, who have since informed me that this is a known issue when posting blogs from the mobile app…
So for now, until they fix the issue, it will be a case of logging on to the WordPress website through a browser, in order to activate it 🙈
Not an ideal solution, but a solution nonetheless!

I’ve been having exactly the same issue! I tried everything to fix it – going into my settings, making sure “allow comments” was clicked, etc. Glad to know it’s not just me and an issue with the app itself. Not ideal. But good to know posts through the browser version work correctly.

Glad I’m not the only one 😀 it’s just so frustrating as I do most of my blogging via the app! Fingers crossed they fix it soon 🤞🏻
